Following the state of emergency declared by both the President and the Governor, the Parnell Memorial Library will be closed to the public, effective immediately. This is a preventative measure to ensure the health and safety of our patrons and our city.

The library will continue to update our website www.parnellmemoriallibrary.org and social media accounts with resources for activities, books, and information. Keep an eye out for updates on internet resources, open-source books, and activities for your kids that we'll post here and on our Instagram account, @parnellmemoriallibrary

Library staff will be working Monday - Tuesday 9-3pm and will be available to answer questions by phone (205) 665-2555 ext. 1000, or by Facebook messenger. We will continue to monitor and will update as the situation develops.
